To kick off spring and celebrate Easter weekend, Del Sur residents gathered for an annual Spring Circus, which took place last Saturday at the new home community located just north of Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego. The Spring Circus is one of many resident events planned by Del Sur’s Community Services Council each year.
“Once again, residents attended the Spring Circus in full force and enjoyed food trucks, a festive Easter egg hunt and more,” said Lisa Sanders, marketing manager for Del Sur.
In fact, more than 800 residents gathered for the event, which included five acrobat shows, animal interactions, clown school, a creation station, inflatable jumps, face painting and balloon artists. Also on site was the Easter Bunny for an egg hunt, as well as food and drinks from five San Diego food trucks.
“We’re a new home community brought together by wonderful events,” added Sanders. “When you attend one, there’s no denying the excitement and spirit of our residents.”
Next up at Del Sur, adult residents will enjoy a Cinco de Mayo fiesta at the community’s gathering space, the Ranch House at Del Sur. This summer, all residents will enjoy summer concert and movie nights at parks throughout the master-planned community.
When not celebrating at a community event, residents at Del Sur enjoy access to six neighborhood parks, five with year-round swimming pools heated with solar panels, as well as 18 miles of shared trails. Coming soon are three new parks with features such as solar-heated pools, and basketball, tennis and bocce ball courts.
Residents have access to three top-performing schools within the Poway Unified School District (PUSD). Soon, the community will break ground on another PUSD school serving students in grades K-8.
Also planned at Del Sur are future commercial, retail, office and employment spaces.
Located in the coastal hills of San Diego – between interstates 5 and 15 and just north of SR-56 – the community has four new home neighborhoods now selling, with additional neighborhoods coming this year. Currently, prices range from the high $400,000s to more than $1 million. Four model complexes – featuring attached and detached floor plans ranging from 1,643 to more than 4,000 square feet – are open for tours.
